Domantas Sabonis roasts LeBron James with spin move

By  |

After blowing Friday’s game open with a 22-0 first-quarter run, the Cleveland Cavaliers found themselves in a battle with the Indiana Pacers during the second half. And those defensive issues that have cropped up during Cleveland’s recent struggles? They were on display during one third-quarter possession.

With J.R. Smith and Kevin Love trapping Pacers guard Victor Oladipo on the ball screen, Domantas Sabonis was left open. LeBron James rotated over but he was no match for Sabonis, whose spin move led to an easy basket.

James was none too thrilled with Love after the play, which leads one to wonder how Cleveland aims to defend ball screens in the middle of the floor. That being said, it doesn’t erase the fact that Sabonis left James in the dust.
